Enjoy the Outdoors
Whether it’s hiking one of our many trails, fishing in Lake Nevin, enjoying our public art, reading under a tree, or taking advantage of one of our many programs, Bernheim offers visitors unique opportunities to connect with nature.
Our LEED® platinum Visitor Center, Canopy Tree Walk, nearly 90-year-old fire tower, Children’s Play Garden, public art displays, and our one-of-a-kind Edible Garden are just some of our many must-sees at Bernheim.
Field Trips & Group Tours
Explore Bernheim with a field trip or group tour. Our team works with schools, churches, scout organizations, and many other groups year-round to develop the perfect nature break tour or field trip.
The Edible Garden
Explore our one-of-a kind Edible Garden - a four-acre site just across from Bernheim’s Visitor Center that serves as a gateway to connect people with nature via the country’s most popular pastime – Gardening. Learn how the garden makes the environment healthier.
