As you have probably heard, a LG&E natural gas pipeline threatens the integrity of our beloved Bernheim Forest. This potential seizure of our pristine conservation land ignores the easements put in place to protect our biologically diverse land. These threats will have an irreversible impact on our wildlife, our clean air and water, our visitors, and the quality of life in our community. Save Bernheim Shabbat at The Temple

Join us for this special shabbat (sabbath) service at The Temple congregation in Louisville. This special service will feature guest speaker, Bernheim Executive Director, Dr. Mark Wourms, to talk about the threat of a proposed pipeline. The Sabbath services will be led by Rabbi Joe Rooks Rapport and will feature a professional choir under the direction of Dr. Louie Bailey. This service is open to the public and begins promptly at 7 p.m.

Sip N’ Hike

Join a Volunteer Naturalist for a fun 2-mile guided hike while sipping refreshing beer. Hikers will enjoy three beer stops along the trail compliments of West Sixth Brewing. Food will be available at the end of the hike. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to receive special offers and shop with outdoor retailers such as KEEN and Quest Outdoors.
