At Bernheim’s Playcosystem, a natural 17-acre playground. Playcosystem is designed in harmony with nature and provides children with endless, unstructured play opportunities that support healthy physical and mental development.
100 Hours of Play
The research is clear – more outdoor play leads to happier and healthier children! We encourage and reward outside play through the 100 Hours Playcosystem Challenge. Here’s how you can take part:
Print your coloring page and then color a leaf for every hour of outdoor play at Bernheim. Complete 100 hours of play to receive your Play Champion patch. Simply take a photo of your completed 100-hour play coloring sheet and email it to cstephens@bernheim.org We can mail you your patch or you can pick it up at Bernheim. Share your journey with #100hrplaycosystemchallenge on social media!
