Bernheim was honored to participate in this year’s Give Local Louisville, the biggest day of online giving for the Louisville Community. The money raised for the 600 participating non-profit organizations is eligible for prize money from the Community Foundation of Louisville, the host of the online event.
Bernheim is ecstatic to have raised $65,209 throughout the day, but the biggest news to us is that 124 people chose to support Bernheim. And it’s not over quite yet – we are eligible for additional prize money from the Community Foundation, an amount to be determined soon. We are humbled that so many appreciate the hard work we do connecting people with nature. Whether through our conservation efforts, our nature-based education programs, or the simple beauty of Bernheim, we are thrilled you have made that connection with us, and hope those connections will last for many generations to come.
A special thanks to some friends of Bernheim, who generously donated an additional $25,000 in matching funds (which were met by midday)!
