Join us for Gnome Making and a Holiday Open House

By bernheim

The holidays are just around the corner (we can’t believe it either)! Bernheim has several opportunities to find/create a unique gift for your friends and family. Join us on Saturday, December 4 for all of your holiday shopping and crafting fun!

Add some seasonal magic to your home this season by joining us to create this mythical forest character, while enjoying some hot cider, treats and hot chocolate. Make this a family activity and enjoy building your gnome together.

The fee is $60 per gnome, which includes all instructions and materials. Gnomes will stand approximately four feet tall, so make sure you have extra room to take your passenger home! There will be two sessions on December 4 – 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Beginning at 11 a.m., enjoy a festive day shopping in the forest. Shop local and browse our selection of gifts, locally made crafts, Kentucky ProudⓇ and “Giants” merchandise, and other unique gifts for the nature lover in your life.

Get in the holiday spirit with hot mulled cider and refreshments, hourly door prize drawings, holiday specials, and a 30% discount for all Bernheim members.

And speaking of Bernheim members – a gift membership is the perfect gift for anyone who loves the outdoors. When you give a Bernheim membership, you provide unlimited access to miles of hiking trails and public art, discounts on Bernheim’s unique nature-based programming, and a place where you can connect with nature and your family.

Gift memberships start at $50 for a household membership and include our full member benefits plus a limited-edition pine scented candle, valued at $18. These candles are made locally by a woman-owned company, using pine needles sourced from Bernheim’s Arboretum.

All gift memberships must be purchased by December 17 to guarantee arrival by December 24.
