Join our knowledgeable volunteers and staff for adventures through the wondrous natural world to which we belong!

Wildflower Walks with Wren
Join our award-winning naturalist Wren Smith on guided walks through the forest to explore the vibrant wildflowers of spring. These ephemeral beauties don’t last long, so get to know them while they’re here! Learn about the diverse flora of this forest and discover their beauty up close with these upcoming Wildflower Walks:

Solar Eclipse Events
Prepare for an out-of-this-world experience at our Pre-Eclipse Star Party. Led by NASA ambassador Dan Price, this event offers a unique chance to learn about the upcoming eclipse while participating in telescope observations, laser-guided sky explorations, and insight from our volunteer naturalists. We will be open the day of the solar eclipse for a “Solar-bration”. We’ll have solar-themed activities, make homemade eclipse viewers from recycled materials, food trucks, and a special menu at Isaac’s Café. (Registration and tickets not required for “Solar-bration”.)

Enchanting Nighttime Programs
As the sun sets, Bernheim Forest transforms into a captivating nocturnal world. It’s said around here that the forest lets her hair down at night. Our enchanting night programs let you experience the full magic of Bernheim, guided by night naturalist Bill Napper and other volunteer naturalists. Our night programs book up quickly, so make sure to register sooner rather than later!
