Member Adventure: experience Bernheim like never before – join us for a member-exclusive campout filled with stargazing, s’mores-over a bonfire & stories of constellations. Small tents, chairs & blankets are recommended. Food, beverages, and acoustic instruments are welcome, but outside alcohol, fires, generators and pets are strictly prohibited.

The cost is $25 for adults. Children are $15 (12 and under). Each ticket includes one drink ticket which can be redeemed for Mile Wide beer, Ale-8, or other non-alcoholic options. Additional beverages will be available for sale with a portion of proceeds benefitting Bernheim’s mission connecting people with nature. Each camper will also be given one s’mores kit. Volunteer Naturalists will be on-site leading different activities for the whole family such as star tours, night sounds, and nocturnal creatures.

Registration opens at 12:00pm on Summer solstice, Tuesday, June 21.

The campout will start at 7 p.m. on July 16 and run until 7 a.m. on July 17. This event is weather permitting, and will be rescheduled to Saturday, July 23 in case of inclement weather.

Primitive campsites will be available with portable restrooms and drinking water. No electricity plugins will be available on site. This is a family-friendly event. We kindly request that all attendees are respectful of their neighbors for the duration of the event.

Before registering, please note that campers will not be permitted to leave Bernheim between 9 p.m. and 7 a.m.

During registration, please indicate if you need accessibility assistance for limited mobility. We will have camp sites available adjacent to parking areas, and also located closer to restroom facilities.
