Attention book lovers and nature enthusiasts! This Saturday, March 9th, Barnes & Noble is hosting a special Book Fair fundraiser to support Bernheim Forest and Arboretum. By simply purchasing books, you can contribute to the conservation and educational efforts of Bernheim.
Here’s how you can participate and make a difference:
1. In-Store Event on Saturday, March 9: Join us at the Elizabethtown Barnes & Noble anytime between 9 am and 10 pm. Look out for our volunteer naturalists who will be there from 10 am to 4 pm. They’ll be hosting nature-based storytimes, engaging crafts that blend nature, literature, and art, and tables filled with information about Bernheim’s upcoming programs and events. Don’t forget to bring along the barcode, either printed or on your phone, to ensure your purchase counts towards the fundraiser.
2. Online Shopping from Sunday, March 10 to Thursday, March 14: Can’t make it to the store? No problem! You can still contribute by visiting BN.com/bookfairs. When you check out, be sure to have the code handy, which can be found underneath the barcode. Every purchase made online will also support Bernheim.
