Join Bernheim Volunteer Naturalists in search of this less common relative of the whip-poor-will. It is fitting that both these birds belong to the nightjar family, for indeed they jar the night with their loud repetitive call; and add mystery to our summer nights. This program involves each participant driving or car polling to Bernheim’s Bean House which will be a 25-mile round trip caravan.

There is no guarantee that we will hear one, but summer nights at Bernheim are always full of surprises!
