Camp Bernheim Recap

This summer, Bernheim hosted our first camp series in nearly twenty years. For six weeks, children of different ages and backgrounds immersed themselves in nature through activities such as kayaking on Lake Nevin, hiking down creek beds, and exploring art in the landscape.

Staff and Volunteer Naturalists who had the chance to work with these groups were impressed by their excitement, curiosity, and thoughtfulness. It was an absolute delight to watch these campers connect with nature.

Thank you to everyone involved, from campers and their parents to staff and volunteers, for a fantastic summer. We can’t wait to do it again next year!
