View “LG&E vs. Bernheim: The Pipeline Problem” by Virginia Chance School

By bernheim

Bernheim is honored that Virginia Chance School in Louisville created a documentary film about the importance of protecting Bernheim’s land from the installation of a natural gas pipeline. Director of Environmental Program, Rachel Beck and Chance School 5th grade students studying environmental justice began to investigate the Bullitt County Pipeline and set out to gain various perspectives around the project. As a part of this journey, they met with Bernheim’s Natural Areas team to learn how a pipeline would impact the forest, from rare species whose habitats would be threatened to the effects on clean water. This short documentary share their discoveries from Bernheim and others.
