Bernheim was honored to participate in this year’s Give for Good Louisville, the biggest day of online giving for the Louisville Community. The money raised for the 500+ participating non-profit organizations was eligible for prize money throughout the day from the Community Foundation of Louisville, the host of the online event.
Throughout the day, Bernheim raised $89,545! We are grateful to the group of donors that supported us with a $34,000 dollar for dollar match helping us encourage 273 people to support Bernheim – more than double the number of donors from last year. We were able to surpass our goal of $90,000 with a $1,000 prize from the Community Foundation for the Match Maker strategic prize (recognizing a successful challenge match), which is a true honor. We are humbled that so many support our efforts to #SaveBernheim from two threats – a natural gas pipeline and a proposed highway bypass. We are thrilled to see the community rally around the protection of rare and endangered species, conservation lands, and 90 years of connecting people with nature. We hope that together, we can protect all of these things for the next 90+ years!
