Since early January, the large flocks of Canada geese on Lake Nevin have some new friends – tundra swans. Tundra swans breed in the remote arctic of North America. They are most common swans in North America, but are not commonly seen in Kentucky. They are rare site at Bernheim. They normally spend the winter on the Atlantic and Pacific coasts of the United States, but will pass through Kentucky on their way to the Atlantic coast.
