Bernheim was honored to participate in this year’s Give for Good Louisville, the biggest day of online giving for the Louisville Community. The money raised for the 500+ participating non-profit organizations was eligible for prize money throughout the day from the Community Foundation of Louisville, the host of the online event.
Throughout the day, Bernheim raised $49,370, but thanks to a last minute offline donation, we were able to meet our full goal of $50,00o. We are grateful to the group of donors that supported us with a $25,000 dollar for dollar match helping us encourage 120 people to support Bernheim. And it’s not over quite yet – we are eligible for additional prize money from the Community Foundation, an amount to be determined soon. We are humbled that so many appreciate the hard work we do connecting people with nature. Whether through our conservation efforts, our nature-based education programs, or the simple beauty of Bernheim, we are thrilled you have made that connection with us, and hope those connections will last for many generations to come.
