So Many Ways to Enjoy Bernheim’s Beauty: Isaac’s Café Specials February 22-26, 2016

By Kathy Hart

Specials 12-21-15

I hope that you were among the thousands of folks who came out to Bernheim this past Saturday.  Perhaps it was the 70° weather and sunshine that made you instantly think of heading to Bernheim or maybe it was the need for exercise after using the chill of winter as an excuse to stay on the couch.  Maybe you knew you would find what you were looking for on our 40 miles of trails, scenic overlooks and tranquil lakefront strolls.  Many of you found your way into the Visitor Center, possibly for the first time where you encountered ECO Kids (ECO stands for Every Child Outside) . I hope you learned a thing or two about the natural world and may have even got to join in on one of the Hikes of the Day lead by our dedicated Volunteer Naturalists.  If your visit included lunch at Isaac’s Café,  we hope that your meal will bring you back again and again.  Isaac’s Café strives to provide local, sustainable and delicious food to enhance your experience. If you were unable to make it this past weekend, don’t worry – there will be many more opportunities to enjoy all Bernheim has to offer.
