Nature is the Best Classroom

By Cadell Walker

Portland Middle School field trip to Wilson Creek restoration area.

Today, more than ever, hands-on learning experiences in nature are vital to our future. From woodlands to wetlands, from grasslands to creek beds, students need to discover the stories, creatures, places and wonders of the natural world in order to be good stewards of our environment now and into the future. After all, nature is the best classroom.

YOUR GIFT WILL INSPIRE OUR FUTURE SCIENTISTS

Bernheim’s Nature Education Campaign aims to provide 10,000 local students access to our nationally recognized nature-based education programs in 2018. In order to do this, Bernheim needs to raise $50,000 by February 15, 2018.

Thanks to a special group of Bernheim donors, your donation will be MATCHED dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000. The $25,000 challenge match expires February 15, 2018 and will help us reach our $50,000 fundraising goal faster! Please help us meet the challenge by DONATING TODAY!
