My Bernheim Story: Sharon Brock

We moved to Kentucky from Colorado in 1965. My mother made a concerted effort to introduce the family to our new home. We traveled all over the state exploring the tourist sites. Bernheim Forest was closest to Elizabethtown. We spent HOURS hiking the trails, dangling feet in the creek, eating picnic lunches, taking pictures and generally having a blast. My favorite memories of the Kentucky “landscape” are the family times spent at Bernheim Forest.

Hoping to introduce the 4th generation of my family to Bernheim Forest this summer. I can’t wait.
