I do believe my all time favorite memory was taking my mom hiking. You see, we had been told of her having breast cancer. So hiking we went. We walked all over Bernheim that day. Bernheim Forest has always been my to go to place. Times when I need to grieve, rejoice. It all happened in that beautiful place. The quiet garden was when my son was in Iraq and I needed some time to just pray. Bernheim Forest is indeed a very special place!
