The first and third Saturday of each month has always been an ECO Kids Discovery Day at Bernheim, a day full of hands on activities for the whole family. Each of these afternoons, you’ll see Bernheim’s treasured Volunteer Naturalists throughout the Visitor Center with Discovery Stations where kids and their families can explore all things nature.
But times are different – our Visitor Center is closed and we cannot gather together for these hands-on interactions for the time being. Until we can, our Naturalists want you all to keep learning, so they created Virtual Discovery Stations.
Each discovery station has questions for you to think about while at home or exploring Bernheim with your family – we even included information about where at Bernheim is the best place to explore the topic of each Discovery Experience.
