Meeting the Bernheim Giants

The public enjoys meeting Bernheim’s ‘family of Forest Giants in a Giant Forest’. Mama Loumari relaxes and enjoys nature, while her two ‘kid giants’ are out exploring. Little Elina loves to play with rocks while Little Nis (in this photo) is fascinated with his own reflection. The large scale wooden ‘Forest Giants’ at Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest in Clermont, KY was created in celebration of Bernheim’s 90th anniversary. Matilda Anne Waggener and her Dad, Tom, explored the Giants and the beautiful covered walkways along the path on her 10th birthday.
