In honor of our Big Tree Hug Challenge, the special at Isaac’s café this week will be what we are calling, the BIG HUG! It is a forest of fresh greens from our Edible Garden, piled high with our homemade chicken salad all rolled together with other fresh veggies and given a big hug in the form of a soft flour tortilla, just $5.95!
We are also introducing “Tree Hugger Trail Bites”. A nutritious and delicious, energy packed, perfect for the trail snack, full of peanut butter, old fashion oats, our own Bernheim honey, and a drizzle of dark chocolate for just $1.00. YUM!
As always, we have fresh soups, sandwiches and salads. Don’t forget to practice your tree hugging skills while you’re here.
Before heading out to Bernheim, visit bernheimtreehug.org to register for this once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of this Guinness Record breaking event. The official hug attempt will take place at 2:30 p.m. sharp. Arrive no later than 1:30 p.m. to give you plenty of time to get to your hugging zone, find a tagged tree and help us make history!
