Heads Up Hike
Ages: 2-21
Taking a walk is lots of fun, but most of the time we walk, we’re looking where we’re going and miss all of the cool stuff happening over our heads.
This activity is called a “Heads-Up Hike” because we’re going to be paying attention to what’s up there! When you head out on a walk, set a timer for 3 minutes. When the timer goes off, stop and look up. What can you see? What do you notice? Spend some time looking up and noticing things, then continue along your way, but don’t forget to reset your timer for 3 minutes!
