This weekend marks the 10th anniversary of the Central Kentucky Knap-In and Lithic Art Show at Bernheim. The popular event showcases the prehistoric art of flint knapping which people in ancient times used to make their tools and weapons.
The show, which runs July 18-20 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. daily, attracts hundreds of visitors from Kentucky and several nearby states. Artisans will have modern replicas and pre-historic artifacts on display for sale or trade, as well as other primitive arts and crafts.
The forecast looks great so be sure to come out for a visit and explore the art of knapping.
