Winter is a great time for investigating wildlife. Snowfall allows for tracking of bobcats and coyotes, providing insight into their travels through the forest. We tracked this bobcat for over a mile as he crossed frozen streams, walked along logs, and rested under a fallen tree. The bobcat finally eluded our pursuit in a briar patch.
