Bernheim earns ArbNet level IV certification

We are pleased to announce that Bernheim has once again received a Level IV Accreditation through the ArbNet Arboretum Accrediation ProgramArbNet is an interactive community of arboreta and tree-focused professionals that supports the common purposes and interests of tree-focused public gardens, allowing access to shared resources and providing opportunities for collaboration on a global scale.  At the highest level of accreditation, Level IV arboreta employ well-qualified tree scientists engaged in publishing sophisticated research, manage living tree collections for the purpose of conservation, and take an active role in supporting tree conservation through the Global Trees Campaign. Level IV arboreta are world-renowned tree-focused institutions.(Arbnet.org) Accreditation is based upon an institutions varying levels of public programming, number of tree species, volunteer support, educational interactions, and commitment to tree science research and conservation.

There are only 23 Arboreta worldwide that share this achievement.

As we approach our 90th anniversary, we look forward to sharing our love for trees and connecting people with nature well into the future.
