Live Honeybee Installation

Join us Saturday, April 12 at 1:00 p.m. at our Education Center for a honeybee installation! From the safety of our Wildlife Viewing Room, watch as the Bernheim Beekeepers welcome a package of 10,000 buzzing pollinators to their new home.

Volunteer beekeepers Bernie Roach, Mac Howard, and Helen Fenske will demonstrate the installation process, explain steps and beekeeping tools along the way, and answer questions during and following the presentation. Don’t miss this buzz-worthy event!
