Birds of Bernheim

Over 200 species of birds have been observed at Bernheim, which provides a lot of hope for birds and birders alike. Bernheim, designated an Important Bird Area by the Audubon Society, supports birds with critical habitat and has carried out bird conservation research for 90 years. This page will help you identify many of the more common birds found here as well as a few that may be a bit less common. Use the following color codes as a guide to the most likely time of year to find each bird.
