Gas pipe lines make huge money they can pay to go around the forest.. I do mean they pay not the taxpayers and not the environment for all to enjoy

I might not be on this Earth for many more years. However, when I return in my 'New Life' I hope that the Cedar Grove Wildlife Corridor and the entire Bernheim Forest have not been destroyed as so many other places on Earth have been. Mother Nature takes care of her own. Why can't "intelligent and knowledgeable" humans do the same?

Hello,
I have grown up in Louisville and have loved visiting since I was little. I still go a couple times every season. It's a beautiful resource. Since the forest that would be leveled to make way for this pipeline was purchased with the Kentucky Heritage Land Conservation Fund, I'm assuming the state saw a need in 2018 to preserve this area. If LG&E wanted to build a pipeline through this forest, they should scouted the area before this land become protected, especially since a lot of the energy coming from this pipeline will serve industrial needs like Jim Bean. The state needs to stand by its position, protect this forest and come up with other routs and solutions for the growing needs in Bullit county.

This is so discouraging that companies feel they can come in and take land meant for conservation. This absolutely should not be allowed. It would set a terrible precedent for other lands that have been purchased or donated to protect our wild spaces from pipelines and developers.
