60 members attended our members-only Films in the Forest outdoor movie night on Friday, October 21. It was a crisp Fall evening, with a sliver of a moon and a clear star-filled sky.
Members of all ages brought cozy comforts from home and set up in the field behind the Art Barn to enjoy an outdoor showing of E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Volunteer Naturalists led interactive Discovery Stations exploring misunderstood creatures: vultures, bats and snakes. Attendees enjoyed complimentary popcorn, Mile Wide beer and soft drinks.
