Spring Volunteer Opportunities at Bernheim

Jean Volunteer ColorFest 2012

You already know Bernheim is a beautiful place to connect with nature, but did you know that you can help preserve our landscape for future generations while soaking up the sun and playing in the dirt? Volunteers are a vital part of helping us to fulfill our mission of connecting people with nature. As the weather gets warmer, we will need even more help. There are several opportunities for you to get involved.

Attend our Volunteer Orientation Training on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Learn more about Bernheim’s mission and history and the various positions available for volunteers. Call Amy Joseph Landon at (502) 955-8512 x 262 to RSVP or with any questions you may have.

Don’t have the time to volunteer on a regular basis? No problem! Sign up to help at BloomFest, our annual celebration of Spring. Shifts are anywhere from 2-4 hours and range in activity from crafty to food service. It’ s a great way to help Bernheim visitors have a great experience while being in the great outdoors.
