ECO Kids Discovery Days
The E-C-O stands for Every Child Outside, and that’s exactly where kids can be found during ECO Kids Discovery Days. Discovery Days take place the first and third Saturday of each month at Bernheim’s Visitor Center and include an On Your Own Challenge, Discovery Stations, and a Hike of the Day.
Pollywalks!
Pollywalks are designed for families of children aged 0-5 with stories, songs, and nature exploration. The best part is all of the action happens OUTSIDE! Pollywalks meet at the Silo Stage and include guided programming and free exploration for the youngest of nature lovers.

Bernheim offers opportunities for learners of all ages and levels to engage with and connect to nature. We inspire our learners to develop a personal lifelong relationship with nature through programs that are fun, creative, and playful but solidly grounded in the natural sciences.
Bernheim Lunch & Learn
Bernheim Lunch and Learn programs are designed for those who enjoy spending time outdoors in the company of other adults who love learning about nature. Hosted by Corinne Mastey, Volunteer Naturalist and Certified Interpretive Guide, each program includes group introductions, a short themed hike, and a fabulous lunch from Isaac’s Café.
Smart Gardens & Landscapes
Bernheim’s Smart Gardens & Landscapes workshops invite participants to connect with nature within their own yards. Whether it’s springtime planting or winter wreath making or composting tips, Bernheim provides multiple workshops throughout the year that are sure to delight your inner gardener.
