Bernheim provides a natural, immersive backdrop for whatever event you’re planning. We have many spaces to choose from within the arboretum that are easy to access and close to parking.

Say I Do at BernheimEducation Center Gallery
This venue is the perfect space for your next gathering, large or small! The Education Center Gallery is situated at the top of a hill overlooking the Olmstead Ponds and boasts a beautiful vista of the Arboretum. This large space offers a flexible floor plan, letting you host how you want. This venue is accessible and conveniently located near a large parking area, making it suitable for gatherings of all sizes.
Amenities for the Education Center Gallery include electricity, accessible restrooms, and Wi-Fi. Capacity: 100 people
Event Pavilion
No matter what the season, this beautiful, handcrafted timber-frame pavilion is the perfect space for your event! Set against a wooded backdrop, Bernheim’s sustainably built Event Pavilion is nestled in a clearing at the base of Forest Hill Drive. The space is near the restrooms at Bernheim’s historic silos.
Amenities for the Event Pavilion include electricity and lighting. Capacity: 150 people
Garden Pavilion
The Garden Pavilion is a perfect place for your next meeting or event. This space is easily accessible and is located at the edge of Lake Nevin near Bernheim’s main entrance. Surrounded by sweeping views and some of Bernheim’s most colorful plant collections, the Garden Pavilion provides a stunning backdrop for any occasion.
Amenities include electricity, Wi-Fi, a kitchen, accessible restrooms, TV monitor, and drop-down projector screen. Capacity: 60 people
Sassafras Room
The picturesque Sassafras Room, located inside of Bernheim’s Visitor Center, is easily accessible for your event. Designed to feel like a tree, the room provides views of the surrounding landscapes in a light and airy space. The building contains visitor information, Isaac’s Café, and the Gift Shop that is open to the public during regular operating hours.
Amenities include electricity, Wi-Fi, accessible restrooms, and large format television/monitor. Capacity: 75 people
Woodland Pavilion
The Woodland Pavilion is the perfect venue for your next family gathering or small group retreat! This space provides plenty of great opportunities for picnicking and nature exploration.
Amenities include picnic tables. Capacity: 30 people
Additional Amenities
Bernheim also offers additional amenities that you can add to nearly any rental.

- Four-foot round tables ($10/per)
- Wooden folding chair for indoor use only ($3/per)
- White folding chairs for indoor or outdoor use ($3/per)
