Shady Rays partners with Bernheim

PUT ON YOUR SHADY RAYS

The future is bright for nature-based play

Bernheim Forest is proud to partner with Shady Rays, one of the fastest-growing lifestyle eyewear brands in the country. The company has extended its support to Bernheim Forest’s Playcosystem through their charitable giving program, Shady Rays Impact.

Shady Rays has been a beacon of philanthropy, supporting organizations and individuals who make a positive impact nationally and regionally. They’ve provided more than 26 million meals to fight hunger across America and removed millions of plastic bottles from our world’s oceans. They’re also building playsets for pediatric oncology patients, and taking young adults with cancer and other serious conditions on outdoor adventures of a lifetime.

The partnership with Bernheim serves as an inspiring example of how businesses can contribute to the well-being of both our local community and the environment.

“Being a great community partner has always been a first focus for Shady Rays,” Shady Rays Founder + CEO Chris Ratterman said. “Our partnership with Bernheim Forest is a demonstration of this commitment and what better way to show it than through outdoor play and exploration. Shady Rays are built for outdoor adventure, and wherever adventure takes us – we’re proud to say that includes Bernheim Forest.”

Play is important. Research tells us outdoor play is a critically important childhood experience that supports social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Shady Rays’ support will go toward the completion of Zone 2 and 3 in Playcosystem and state-approved training workshops on the value of outdoor play that will activate the newly constructed Play Clubhouse. We are thrilled to work together with Shady Rays to make the outdoors an accessible place for all. So put on your Shady Rays, for the future is bright for nature-based play!
