The woods are buzzing, the creek is flowing, and laughter echoes through the trees—Camp Bernheim is back, and it’s already shaping up to be a season to remember.
“Awesome camp from communication, activities, and of course the setting! Our family has been super impressed and can’t wait to participate in more of the Bernheim offerings.”

Campers have been diving into outdoor adventures with confidence and curiosity. Guided by our enthusiastic counselors—including Youth and Family Program Manager Mr. Dan, Nature-Based Educator August Ocasio-Simon, and fellow counselors Rylee, Jocelyn, Gracie, and Chelsea—each day is filled with discovery and fun. From kayaking and creek walking to faerie house building and nature-inspired crafts, campers are fully immersed in nature-based play and learning.
Throughout the week, kids explored shaded trails, investigated the ecosystems of Rock Run and Wilson Creek, and got hands-on with creative, nature-themed activities. Free play at Playcosystem sparked collaboration and imagination, while campfire storytelling and s’mores wrapped up each day with joy.
“Fantastic camp! My daughters look forward to it every year. Counselors teach and have fun with the campers. Organized and safe, with innovative activities.”
