New Born Crescent reflects Lawler’s interest in delight and imagination. Carved in stone, the sculpture draws on the shape of a crescent moon, suggesting themes of time, transformation, and wonder. Its celestial form and textured surface give the work a gentle presence within Bernheim’s Edible Garden, encouraging visitors to consider the cycles of the moon and their connection to growth and harvest.
Location: Edible Garden, across from the Visitor Center.
