About the Artist
Originally a psychiatrist, Ernest Shaw turned to art as a form of self-expression. Inspired by a childhood love of making sculptural objects from found materials, he committed to art in 1974.

An early work, Cluster III features three bold, angular red forms that suggest the corners of a rectangle. Their lines visually connect, offering a striking contrast to the surrounding pine trees.
Location: Near Olmsted Ponds, visible from the bridge toward Little Nis.
