Introducing our Membership Referral Program: How it Works
Who is eligible to participate?
Any active Bernheim member is eligible to participate. You can recruit as many members as you wish! If you are unsure of your member status, please contact our Membership Department via email or at 502-215-7155.
Who can be recruited?
Any individual who is not currently a Bernheim member can be recruited.
Referred members must not have held a Bernheim membership within the previous 12 months.
What’s the Deadline to recruit and receive rewards?
This program will end on April 30, 2022 – Start recruiting your “buds” now! Any mailed referral forms must be received by May 15, 2022 to be entered into the prize drawing.
How does the referral program work?
As a current Bernheim member, invite a friend to join by entering their contact information below. Our Membership team will invite them to join. Your friend submits the referral information when they join (see ways to join below). When your friend joins and submits your name as a referral, both of you will be entered into a drawing to win one of three Bernheim prize baskets.

Invite your buds (friends, family, neighbors, etc.) to join Bernheim today!
Instructions: Complete the below form with the name and email address of the person you would like to recommend for membership. Bernheim’s Membership Department will then invite them to join via email and highlight the many benefits a membership offers. If your “bud” joins, then both you and the new member will be entered into a drawing to win one of the below prize baskets.
Ways to participate:
- Online Referral: Complete the above form with the name and email address of the person you would like to recommend for membership. Bernheim’s Membership Department will then invite them to join and highlight the many benefits a membership offers.
- By mail: Print and complete this printable form and share with your friends. Your friend will then mail the form to Bernheim using the address listed.
- Online: at bernheim.org/membership. Have your “bud” enter your name on the online membership application form when they join online.
- In-Person: stop by our Membership Desk just inside the Visitor Center, open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m, to become a member and share your referral information.
- By Phone: Call our Membership Desk at (502) 215-7155.
Recruitment Tips – We’re Here to Help!
- Tell the story of why you’re a member – is it the free daily admission, the reciprocal admissions program, the discounts to Bernheim programs and classes – how does Bernheim membership provide value to you? Why did you join? Share your story with your friends via word of mouth, social media, or snail mail!
- Share the Experience – invite a friend to join you for a visit out to Bernheim. Take a hike to see the Giants, have lunch at Issac’s, or browse the Gift Shop. Share your favorite places at Bernheim with others!
- Provide your “buds” with the necessary information about how to join, reminding them to include your name as a referral.
- Follow-up – Touch base in a few weeks to thank them and ask if they have any questions.
