Mark your calendar – Give Local Louisville is September 15

giveLocal16Give Local Louisville is back and better than ever. Sponsored by the Community Foundation of Louisville, Give Local Louisville is the biggest day of local giving. The 24 hour event was created to inspire people to give generously to the nonprofits that make our community a better, more vital place to live. In 2015, $3 million was raised for 362 non-profits via 8,785 gifts. Bernheim was thrilled to raise $50,000 in 2015 and we hope to increase that amount in 2016.

Donating online at givelocallouisville.org on September 15, 2016 is a great way to maximize your gift to Bernheim. Thanks to the generosity of Friends of Bernheim, all gifts up to $25,000 will be matched dollar for dollar. In addition, the money raised on that day is eligible for prizes and bonus dollars courtesy of the Community Foundation. Of course there are benefits for donors as well – prize drawings will take place throughout the day.

If you are a Community Foundation of Louisville fund holder, you can make gifts to Give Local Louisville through MyFund until Friday, September 9, at 3 p.m.

We hope you will join us for this fun day. There are no small gifts – every dollar raised is vital to Bernheim’s mission of connecting people with nature.
