Louisville Metro Council Passes a Resolution Opposing the Pipeline

On Thursday, April 13, the Louisville Metro Council passed Resolution No._RV-014, which urges LG&E to “immediately cease all legal efforts to seize conservation lands owned and protected by Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest.”

The bill was sponsored by Council Member Betsy Ruhe of District 21.

Bernheim is grateful for the support of Metro Council, the many people who were present at the Metro Council meeting to show their support of this resolution, and everyone else in the community who has supported our efforts to protect this conservation land from a proposed natural gas pipeline.
