In honor of National Water Day, two Kentucky staples have teamed up to preserve the clean limestone water in Clermont.

Jim Beam and Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest announced they will develop a natural water sanctuary. That sanctuary will be on the Bernheim grounds adjacent to the Jim Beam distillery.

This alliance will protect water quality by restoring natural habitats in the area and improve watershed protection.

Jim Beam Distiller Freddie Noe says this effort is important because “great bourbon starts with great water.”
