Introducing Arts in Nature Assistant Hannah Coleman-Zaitzeff

Hannah Coleman-Zaitzeff, Arts in Nature Assistant

I am pleased to announce that the Arts in Nature department has expanded and excited to welcome Hannah Coleman-Zaitzeff to the Bernheim team as the Arts in Nature Assistant. A recent transplant from St. Paul, MN, Hannah discovered Bernheim and the position while searching for places to hike in the Louisville area. In this new role, Hannah provides both administrative and operational support to the Arts in Nature department, assisting with visiting artists, installations, exhibitions, and arts engagement opportunities.

Hannah is a great fit with a varied and diverse skillset and a passion for Bernheim’s mission of connecting people with nature through the arts. Previous work experience includes her role as Institutional Giving Manager at The Bakken Museum, where she oversaw all forms of institutional giving, drastically increasing the number of applications and funding to the organization. She also brings managerial and production experience from her time with the Mill City Summer Opera where she helped produced and orchestrate live complex events, while also managing all company files and social media accounts. Additionally, Hannah has years of technical theatre and professional carpentry experience, with MIG welding, prop making, rigging, general construction, and scenic design under her belt.

Hannah addressing both major and minor repairs to our beloved Forest Giants family.

Hannah brings great energy to Bernheim and has tackled all aspects of the position with ease and enthusiasm. In her short time at Bernheim, she has researched and identified potential funding for arts programming, created a public art guide for the expanding collection on the grounds and in our facilities, and made major repairs to our Forest Giants family, just to name a few.

Hannah is overseeing the recruitment of art volunteers for CONNECT as well as the event’s 2022 Call for Artists. If interested in being part of the art at Bernheim contact Hannah via email for learning more!
