Step back in time and relive the joy of creekside exploration on a hike and van tour led by Volunteer Naturalists. Journey through Bernheim’s Wilson Creek area, where highlights include a stroll along the creek, a beaver lodge, four creek fords, the Bean House, an old swimming hole, future wetland areas, and a hike through a vast cane break, all while traveling Bernheim’s gravel backroads. This adventure covers about 1 mile of moderately easy terrain, offering access to areas that can only be explored with a guide.
For your comfort, bring water, wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots, and pack an extra pair of shoes for wet areas. Please bring a lunch or snacks for a break at the Bean House.
Bernheim members $15; Non-members $20
