Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies on the Bean House deck, surrounded by trees and overlooking Bernheim’s newly restored wetland site. Then, take a guided hike past the old pond down to Harrison Creek and the wetlands. The hike is just under a mile and offers a rare chance to explore an area only accessible with a guide.

Hike is optional; if you’d rather stay cozy, linger on the deck and take in the quiet beauty of the winter woods.

For your safety and comfort, sturdy, treaded shoes or hiking boots are essential, and hiking sticks are highly recommended. Please avoid tennis shoes, as parts of the trail may be slippery.
