Our amazing Volunteer Naturalists are ready to help you explore miles of Bernheim hiking trails. These longer guided hikes will help you get
more familiar with Bernheim and its trails. Although the length and time frame vary for each, your guides will be taking a leisurely pace that allows you time to rest and enjoy the unique features each trail offers.
The time frame for this strenuous 8-mile hike is 6 hours. Your guides will be taking a little slower pace than normal, which will allow participants to discover, discuss, and enjoy the unique features this hike has to offer. After meeting near the Education Center Silos participants will carpool up to the Jackson Yoe parking lot to start the hike.
Water, and sturdy treaded shoes or hiking boots are required for this hike. Snacks or sack lunch and Hiking sticks are highly recommended. Tennis shoes should not be worn since the trail has multiple steep sections, rough terrain, and can be slippery in spots.
Registration required by 4 p.m. the day prior to the program. Call (502) 215-7155 or click on the button below to register. Space is limited.
