Springhouse Pop-Up Event

September 26 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Image: Black-eyed susan (Rudbeckia sp.) and other native flowers grow along a path of large flat rocks crossing a small wetland pond. A stone springhouse sits at the water's edge among tall deciduous trees.

Springs and licks have had a profound impact on the history of Kentucky and are an important factor in the health of Kentucky wildlife. Join us at the springhouse wetland and search for amphibians and macroinvertebrates. You’ll learn about springs, karst topography, and the flow of water at Bernheim and beyond.

This will be a fun, hands-on, drop-in experience!

FREE, registration is not required.
