Bring your art materials and settle into the landscape. Paint, sketch, or journal while surrounded by the beauty of Bernheim Forest and Arboretum. This program gathers artists who enjoy working outdoors and deepening their plein air practice alongside others.

There’s no formal instruction, just time and space to explore. Each session begins with a short hike to a featured location, selected by artist and volunteer naturalist Teresa Koester, where you’ll spend several hours immersed in your work.

Come prepared to carry in and carry out your materials. Terrain varies month to month and may include uneven or more challenging trails.

Participants must be 16+.
