Join our immersive clay class where we embark on a creative journey into nature! Take a sensory hike through Rock Run to explore the secluded area where natural clay forms. Afterward, a class will convene indoors to learn about clay sculpting, instructed by Taylor Swilley, Clay Sculpting Educator at Backyard Kiln.

Learn the art of extracting clay from local sources and transforming it into stunning platters inspired by the natural world. Using leaves, stones, and organic textures, you’ll bring your unique vision to life while deepening your connection to the environment. No experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and a love for nature!
