Foraging for Deeper Connections
June 10 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm EDT
Regardless of cultural backgrounds or ancestry we all come for people rooted to the Earth. Many plants growing in our own backyards, neighborhoods, and gardens connect us with history, lore, tradition, travels, and travails. When we take time to recognize our green companions and begin learning their stories, we often discover how much our own stories are intertwined, not only with those plants, but with other people, and creatures. Join Wren Smith, Bernheim’s Interpretive Programs Manager (with over 40 years’ experience sharing her passion for wild plants) as we forage for these deeper connections.
This popular program is offered twice, once in early spring and again in late spring. These programs usually fill up fast, so register early to secure your spot.
A short neighborhood stroll in your own backyard or neighborhood may never be the same!
Bernheim members $15; non-members $20
