Fall is the ideal season to plant your landscape! Planting in the fall conserves resources like water and gives roots ample time to establish before winter. This year’s plant sale features a selection of woody trees and shrubs, sun and shade-loving perennials, and pollinator plug kits. Most of these plants are native to the Northeast U.S., with a few introduced species from Europe and Asia.

What’s a landscape plug? It’s a young plant with a compact root system, approximately 4 inches long and 2 inches wide. Landscape plugs are advantageous because they require less soil and establish more quickly in your garden.
