Conservation in Practice: Site-based Stewardship Hike – Spring Wildflowers

March 11 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am EST

Join Director of Conservation Andrew Berry for an outdoor hike to learn about spring wildflowers.

The warmer and brighter days of spring herald the emergence of the greening of the landscape. Watch the forest floor come alive with color as this age-old renewal signals the arrival of spring. Learn about how Bernheim manages natural areas for spring wildflowers, how they contribute to biodiversity, and what challenges they face in the 21st century and beyond.

This 1-hour hike offers something for every plant enthusiast, from beginners to seasoned botanist. Weather appropriate clothing and sturdy boots are recommended. Hike begins at Rock Run Trailhead.

Bernheim members $10; non-members $15
